We want every order to be right first time. If something is wrong with your part — wrong fit, defective, or damaged in transit — we will fix it. This page describes the conditions under which we accept returns and issue refunds.
Return window
- 30 days for new, unused parts and accessories from the date you receive them.
- 72 hours to report any shipping damage or DOA (dead-on-arrival) issues — photograph the packaging before opening.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the part must be:
- Unused and in its original packaging — parts that have been installed or modified cannot be returned.
- In the same condition received — no additional damage beyond what was disclosed in the listing.
- Accompanied by the original invoice or order confirmation number.
Non-returnable items
- Parts that have been installed, cut, soldered, or otherwise modified.
- Used or salvage parts marked as "sold as-is" or "for parts only" — unless there is a listing error on our side.
- Special-order parts sourced specifically for your request.
How to start a return
- Email hello@prokitchenspares.com with your order number, the part you wish to return, and a brief reason.
- We will reply within 1 business day with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and return instructions.
- Pack the part securely in its original packaging where possible and ship it back using the method we specify.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process the refund.
Restocking fees
Change-of-mind returns on correctly supplied, undamaged parts may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee for defective parts, mis-described parts, or parts damaged in transit.
Return shipping costs
- Defective / mis-described / damaged in transit: we cover all return shipping and will send a prepaid return label.
- Wrong-fit due to a listing error on our side: we cover return shipping.
- Change of mind: you cover return shipping.
Refund timelines
- We process the refund within 3 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned part.
- Card refunds typically appear in your statement within 5–10 business days after we issue them; bank transfers within 3 business days.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method. If that is not possible we will arrange an alternative with you.
Damaged in transit
Inspect every order within 72 hours of delivery. If the packaging is damaged, photograph it before opening. Email us photos within 72 hours — we will arrange a replacement or refund and handle the carrier claim at no cost to you.
Statutory rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. If a statutory right gives you a longer return window or a different remedy, that statutory right applies.
